London has been sending people to Cambridge since 1209 when the university was established. So moving to the county from the capital is nothing new.

What is new is the large amount of people who now make that move. The county has changed. It may still draw students and academics to the university but it now has a diverse economy with strength in sectors such as research and development, software consultancy, high value engineering, creative industries, pharmaceuticals and tourism.

At Pocock and Shaw we understand the interest and excitement that the Silicon Fen generates, and actively help those moving to the Cambridge, Ely and Newmarket areas.

The office is also located close to the Life Sciences Cluster, near King's Cross, which now has such strong links with the Cambridge area.
